Traditions

  • Salute: a symbol of unity and respect for sisters and Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. Salutes include song lyrics with synchronized movements that depict the discipline within the line.

  • Stroll: Also known as Party-Walking, strolling is a shared tradition with many Greek organizations. A stroll is a synchronized dance line to music that moves in a forward direction. Strolling allows sisters to demonstrate unity and pride for Lambda Theta Alpha.

  • Hand Sign: A way of sisters around the nation showing Unity through the LTA hand-sign. the hand-signs is done in the shape of an "upside down V" in representation of "Λ" Lambda sign.
